Peer-reviewed papers and preprints from the Higgins-Chen Lab that underpin the POLARIS platform — the methods behind our aging-biomarker models and CpG-level annotation, the systematic benchmarking of epigenetic clocks, and the datasets and DNA-methylation biology they build on.

Before an epigenetic clock can serve as a surrogate endpoint in a trial, it has to actually move when an intervention works. We harmonized 51 longitudinal interventional studies into a single database and computed the same panel of biomarkers across all of them — showing which clocks respond, to which interventions, and under which study designs.
